BEEing Me 🐝 FINAL

I am a honey bee.
Gently minding my own business,
this honey bee gets busy.
Collecting nectar, but a different kind.
Thirsting for knowledge, constantly feeding the mind.

I am a honey bee.
Caring for baby sister bees.
Because I’m the oldest honey bee.
My parents expect me to practice responsibility.

  I am a honey bee.
Don’t mistake my brightness for weakness.
I’m about living life to its fullest,
indulging in its sweetness!
Don’t fear the sting.
Friendship is what I bring.

I am a honey bee.
At times I may get irritable and mad
Easily annoyed and ready to attack
Making those around me feel quite sad
But do not fear the yellow and black
For I am a honey bee.

I hear my fellow honey bees.
More than just cleaning up a hive.
One team. One mission.
With many additions.

Exhausted but still determined.
I will continue to flutter on my journey for knowledge.
This is just the beginning.
There is no end.
Bzzz. Bzzz. Bzzz.
