Group Position Statements

Visitors and locals participating in outdoor activities such as going to the beach and popular trails should be put to blame for hiking and swimming incidents because most remain unaware of their surroundings, ignorant of signs notifying them of potential hazards and are careless.

The location is responsible for the casualties of these visitors due to lack of warnings notifying the public of potential hazards, dangerous natural conditions and the maintenance of signs or facilities.

Our government should be held accountable for the fatalities involving uninformed visitors and locals because they don't provide an adequate amount of signs needed to warn visitors of potential dangers ,  frequently maintain current signs and are unaware of hazards on private hikes.
